They consist of field notebooks, plant lists, and small herbariums. The 1883 field notebooks of Fred E. Leonard, list those plants he identified while visiting Utah. A children's story entitled "The Bungle Book" by Stephen R. Williams (ca. 1892) is also included. Series is arranged alphabetically by student.
