Biographical File, 1864-ca.1945

This series contains photocopies of an article concerning the funeral for John Millot Ellis, 1894, and obituaries for Theodore H. Ellis (son), 1945, and for Emily Cummings Ellis (wife of Theodore H. Ellis), 1922. Additional material for Theodore Ellis include a reprint of a memoir by Alfreda Ellis, American Society of Civil Engineers Memoirs, ca. 1945, and a photocopy of his dismissal form from Oberlin College, 1889. Also included are two short booklets on the dedication of a Maryland spring to Emily Cummings Ellis, 1924, as well as a pamphlet concerning her father, Henry H. Cummings, 1865. Accompanying the obituaries and pamphlets is a genealogical chart compiled in 2002.
