This small collection of Kirke and Mary Cowdery consists of materials that document the study and teaching of the French language by both persons. Included are essays, poems, notes and song lyrics in French, Italian, and English that seem to have been used as class materials in the Cowdery’s teaching. Also included are photographs of Mary Cowdery and an article about World War I that Kirke Cowdery wrote for the Oberlin Alumni Magazine.
