Foreign Visits, 1990-1992

The files from LaFontant-MANkarious' years as Ambassador-at-Large and Coordinator for Refugee Affairs are not comprehensive, but do provide a good overview of her activities. Daily schedules for 1991 illustrate Ambassador LaFontant-MANkarious’ activities in this post. Fact-finding missions to refugee areas in foreign lands and discussions with foreign diplomats were two important aspects of this position.
