Resumes, 1963-1990s, undated

This series includes two subseries. Subseries 1: these files contain general biographical material on Jewel LaFontant-MANkarious. Included are resumes, news clippings, a memorial pamphlet, and passports. Additional news clippings may be found in Series XVII. Publicity and Public Relations. Subseries 2: these files contain correspondence and newspaper clippings related to LaFontant-MANkarious' family, including her parents C. Francis and Aida Stradford and her grandfather JB Stradford (Academy 1882-85). Also of note is the material on her mother’s family, the Vaughans, which includes accounts of the lives of Scipio Vaughan and James Churchwill Vaughan. The series also contains material on the Award and Scholarship established by the Illinois Attorney General in honor of LaFontant-MANkarious’ father, C. Francis Stradford, Sr. (AB 1912).
