The Oberlin College Archives Subject Files make up an artificial collection of ready-reference materials. They are maintained by Archvies staff. These subject files cover a wide variety of topics relating to Oberlin College related events, memorabilia, and associated people. They also include some information about the broader Oberlin community.

The materials cover a range of years, starting in the 1600s, but the predominant span is 1833 to the present. Some files have a specific date, and others span many years.
