Black Women's History
Scope and Contents
The Oberlin College Archives Subject Files make up an artificial collection of ready-reference materials. They are maintained by Archvies staff. The files contain materials such as articles and clippings, booklets, pamphlets, publicity, and website printouts. The records include both originals and copies. These subject files cover a wide variety of topics relating to Oberlin College related events, memorabilia, and associated people. They also include some information about the broader Oberlin community.
The materials cover a range of years, starting in the 1600s, but the predominant span is 1833 to the present. Some files have a specific date, and others span many years.
An asterisk denotes the file is missing. Two asterisks denote that a file has been moved to another collection.
