Subseries 1. Mid-European Union, 1918, undated: This subseries contains a history of the formation of the Mid-European Union, the “Declaration of Common Aims of the Independent Mid-European Union,” several typescript drafts—including handwritten corrections—of Susan Fidélité Hinman’s “A New World-Task: Organizing democracy,” and an untitled article by Hinman announcing the exhibit of souvenirs from the signing of declarations by the Mid-European Union.

Subseries 2. Published Writings, 1918-21, 1931: The published writings contain several articles written by Miller concerning his studies in Eastern Europe and China. A full listing of the articles is included in the inventory.

Subseries 3. Unpublished Manuscripts, undated: This subseries contains two unpublished manuscripts, the first titled “Notes on the Szechoslovaks,” and the second, by Susan Fidélité Hinman, titled “Impressions of the First National Convention of the Poles of America.”
