The photographic series is made up of family photographs and includes visual documentation of Jones, Tallmon, Burwell, Simpkins, Jewett, and Gillet family members and events. The cased images (daguerreotypes, ambrotypes, tintypes) are in small boxes. Photographs are held in envelopes as well as photo albums (8 vols).
