The original reels (7) of microfilm were given to the Oberlin College Library by H. H. Kung himself in 1960, before the establishment of the Archives. The contents, in Chinese, include correspondence, speeches, writings, reports, and conference and meeting materials related to political and economic conditions in China from 1938 to 1943.
