History Department Records
The History Department Records relate to the history of the department between 1911 and 2010. The collection includes reports, agendas, correspondence, and reviews that relate to the administration of the department. It has been arranged in four record series.
Peace Corps Training Program
This record group, consisting of five series, documents the activities of the Peace Corps Training Program that existed at Oberlin College from 1963-1966. Because the program trained volunteers for the French-speaking Ivory Coast, some of the documents are written in French.

This institutional collection consists of records of the Department of English from 1922 through 1996. It has been divided into four subgroups.

Department of German and Russian Records
This collection primarily consists of institutional files related to Oberlin College's German and Russian language departments from 1913 through 1992. The records include information related to writers in residence, summer sessions, and sessions abroad. The German and Russian Department Records have been arranged in three series: Series I. Departmental Administrative Files, Series II. German Language Instructional Files, and Series III. Russian Language Instructional Files.
