Scope and Contents The Jewish Life collection documents various aspects of Jewish student life at Oberlin. The majority of the materials are from various Jewish student groups and publications, Kosher Halal Cooperative (founded originally as Kosher Cooperative), the Judaic and Near Eastern Studies (JNES) Department, and Hebrew House. Scope and Contents Consists of committee files received from a variety of sources. Generally these are records kept by faculty members during service on various college or faculty committees. For example, most of the files for the Standing Committee on Pluralism and Equality were transferred from the William P. Norris Papers.
