The George Nelson Allen family papers contain correspondence, diaries, journals, hymn books, music scores, certificates and diplomas, and photographs. The scope and content of this collection was altered by accessions of family papers, received between 1993 and 1996. Revised in 1992 and again in 1997, this third arrangement and description of the Allen papers had to account for the large entry of correspondence, most of which belonged to Caroline Mary Rudd Allen and her children, as well...
