The bulk of these letters were written by James Bishop Blodgett, a student at the Harvard Medical School, and received by Christine Mitchell Johnston, AB 1934, while she was a student at Oberlin College. The letters begin in September of 1932 and continue through June of 1933. Other letters received by Johnston include those signed "Honey," notices from Oberlin College, and correspondence from other individuals.
