61 letters written by Margaret Hammaker between 1925 and 1963. Letters are addressed to "Friends" and concern events at school in India, trips taken, natural disasters, holiday celebrations, and details of daily life.

The bulk of these letters were written by James Bishop Blodgett, a student at the Harvard Medical School, and received by Christine Mitchell Johnston, AB 1934, while she was a student at Oberlin College. The letters begin in September of 1932 and continue through June of 1933. Other letters received by Johnston include those signed "Honey," notices from Oberlin College, and correspondence from other individuals.

Letters of Kathel Bedortha Kerr, class of 1929, to his brother John Austin Kerr (55 letters) and Dr. A.S. Pearce (Duke University, 1 letter), 1928-1929. Kathel Kerr wrote the letters during his student days at Oberlin (1928-1929); summer in Woods Hole, Massachusetts; and his first year at Washington University in St. Louis, MO (1929).

"Unforgettable Memories: A Collection of Letters," by Elmina Lucke, Oberlin College Class of 1912. Published in 1985. The first set of letters were written to Marjorie, Lucke's niece, during her visit to India in 1931. The second part consists of letters to Marjorie that describe Lucke's visits to Lucknow, Madras, and Bombay, India.
