Correspondence chronicles the founding of the Anti-Saloon League and various temperance crusades. Correspondents include James Monroe, C. W. Horr of Wellington, and Ferd Schumacher, founder of the Quaker Oats Company. Printed materials and clippings further illustrate temperance in the political and social arenas.
