This record group consists of archival and duplicate sets of student publications, microfilmed issues of 15 publications, and other records related to student publications. This includes historical information and charters. It is arranged in four record series.

Scope and Contents The materials contained in the LGBTU Collection date from 1973 to 2001. They reflect portions of the LGBTU’s operations. Most of the materials are from the late 1980s and 1990s. Scope and Contents The ten autograph albums in this collection are those not associated with a personal paper group; they date from the mid- to late nineteenth century. Some of the albums were kept for a long period of the owners’ lives, chronicling the persons that were of most influence for the owners. One of the albums, that of Kittie Mason Purdy, contains entries dating from 1867 to 1885. The diaries in this collection are those not associated with any personal paper groups; they date from 1844 through 1937. Diaries not with papers can also be found in the Oberlin File, RG 21. Two diarists also assembled scrapbooks; these materials are all stored with scrapbooks in RG 19/4/3, as noted on the inventory.
